Build an A4 collage, auto-fit your photos, then zoom, reposition and download as PNG, JPG or PDF.

How to use this A4 collage tool

  1. Choose a layout from the dropdown – portrait, landscape or grid.
  2. Add your photos by clicking each frame and selecting images from your device.
  3. Fine-tune each image using the zoom slider and dragging inside the frame.
  4. Adjust frame borders with the border slider if you want a framed look.
  5. Export your finished collage as PNG, JPG or PDF, ready to print on A4.

How to use the A4 collage creator

 

1. Pick your layout

Use the Layout dropdown to choose how your collage should look.
Available options include:

  • Portrait layouts for taller photos

  • Landscape layouts for wider photos

  • Grids like 2×2 or 3×2 for even spacing

  • “One large, two small” layouts for a magazine-style look

If you change your mind, click Reset layout to start fresh.

 

2. Add your photos

Click inside any empty frame and choose “Click to add photo”.
You can upload JPG, PNG or HEIC files straight from your device.

Each image automatically:

  • Resizes to fit the chosen frame

  • Keeps its proportions

  • Avoids blank space (it fills the area completely)

 

3. Fine-tune each image

Click a frame to make it active.
You’ll see its number appear in the sidebar under Active frame.

You can then:

  • Zoom in or out using the slider

  • Drag the image within the frame to reposition

  • Click Re-centre image if you want to reset its position

 

4. Adjust the frame borders

Use the Frame border slider to control border thickness:

  • 0 px = no visible border (clean print)

  • 1–3 px = subtle framed look

  • 4 px+ = bolder separation between photos

The change applies to all frames in your collage for a consistent style.

 

5. Export your collage

When you’re happy with the layout:

  • Choose Download PNG for the highest quality

  • Choose Download JPG for a smaller, shareable file

  • Choose Download PDF for perfect A4 printing

Your collage will include:

  • An A4 page outline with your selected frame layout

  • Photos exactly as you positioned and zoomed them

  • Your chosen border style
