Anti-Harassment & Discrimination Policy Statement

Last reviewed: 11 June 2026

Black Swan Cyber Security Solutions is committed to maintaining a working environment where everyone is treated with dignity, fairness and respect.

We do not tolerate bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, victimisation or intimidating behaviour in any part of our business.

This applies to our directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, clients and anyone working with us or representing us.

Our commitment

We are committed to:

  • treating people fairly, respectfully and professionally;
  • complying with the Equality Act 2010;
  • taking reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment at work;
  • responding seriously and sensitively to any concerns raised;
  • avoiding victimisation of anyone who raises a concern in good faith;
  • working with clients, suppliers and partners who share our standards of behaviour.

Employers in the UK have a legal duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of workers. This duty came into force on 26 October 2024.

What we mean by harassment and discrimination

Harassment can include unwanted behaviour that violates a person’s dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.

This may include behaviour connected to protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010, including age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. UK workers are protected from discrimination under the Equality Act 2010.

Harassment or inappropriate behaviour may be verbal, physical, written, visual or digital. It can happen face to face, online, by email, by message, on video calls, at work events, or through third parties connected with our business.

Examples of unacceptable behaviour

Unacceptable behaviour may include:

  • bullying, intimidation or aggressive behaviour;
  • offensive comments, jokes, banter or stereotypes;
  • unwanted sexual comments, attention or contact;
  • sharing offensive images, messages or material;
  • excluding, belittling or undermining someone;
  • discrimination linked to a protected characteristic;
  • victimising someone for raising a concern or supporting someone else.

This list is not exhaustive. Behaviour does not have to be intended to cause harm to be unacceptable.

Third parties, clients and suppliers

We expect respectful behaviour from everyone we work with.

That includes clients, suppliers, contractors, partners, event attendees and other third parties. We will not ignore harassment, discrimination or bullying because it comes from outside the organisation.

Where a concern involves a third party, we will consider appropriate action. This may include raising the issue with the organisation involved, changing working arrangements, refusing future work, or ending a business relationship.

Reporting concerns

Anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment, discrimination, bullying or victimisation connected with Black Swan Cyber Security Solutions is encouraged to raise it.

Concerns can be reported to:

Email: hello@blackswancyber.co.uk

Concerns will be treated seriously, handled sensitively and reviewed fairly.

We will not tolerate victimisation of anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith.
